DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, 6" U.S. Maritime Commission 8 day spring driven ship's bells movement in metal case marine clock, c1944
CONDITION:
this case is heavy black-painted steel with a phenolic bezel, all in old somewhat worn surface. Black dial, with white lettering, numbers and hands, are good. Movement 432537, with matching case number, ticks and strikes but could use cleaning, 8" diameter overall
